Golf

Brunei is an emerging “must play” Asian golfing destination, with some of the region’s best courses, designed by the likes of Jack Nicklaus, Ronald Fream and Max Wexler, and having played host since 2005 to the Asian Tour sanctioned Brunei Open golf tournament. Though there are five 18 holes courses in Brunei, it is mostly the championship courses of the Empire Hotel & Country Club, the Royal Brunei Golf & Country Club and the Royal Brunei Airlines Golf Club that accept visiting players, offering often crowd-free playing opportunities, especially during week days.
